Do you want to work hands-on with large language models and agentic AI systems at the cutting edge of technology? On behalf of our client, we are now looking for an AI Engineer who wants to help turn advanced machine intelligence into real-world solutions.
This is a consultancy assignment via Framtiden, based in Lund.


About the role
As an AI Engineer, you will join a development team that integrates advanced machine intelligence into the organisation's internal tools and processes.
It is a hands-on role where you explore, design and implement AI-driven solutions in close collaboration with colleagues across the entire business – from development and operations to other functions.
The team is characterised by curiosity, knowledge sharing and a drive to put new AI concepts into practice.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy AI applications and services, primarily in Python, and build agentic systems based on large language models
  
• Develop and integrate REST APIs for AI services
  
• Build tools and scripts that support the development work
  
• Debug complex flows, including by tracing and analysing call chains in agentic architectures
  
• Collaborate with data scientists and other engineers on requirements and data pipelines, and contribute to code reviews and knowledge sharing
  

About you
We are looking for someone who is curious, proactive and collaborative, with a genuine interest in building intelligent solutions.
You are a natural problem solver who enjoys getting to grips with new AI paradigms and thrives in an environment where knowledge is shared openly.

We are looking for someone who has

• Experience in software development, preferably with a focus on AI/ML
  
• Strong skills in Python
  
• Experience working with APIs
  
• An understanding of AI and large language models (LLMs)
  

Meritorious

• Experience with tools or frameworks for agentic AI systems (e.g.
  LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel)
  
• Knowledge of data engineering, ETL processes and data pipelines
  
• Involvement in developer communities or open source
  
• Experience of a Linux environment
