Axis Communication continues to grow, and we are now looking for a software developer with C experience who also knows, or would like to know, Rust.
We are an agile team of developers with broad and mixed experiences working on the configuration software for our speakers.

Who is your future team?

We have good experience of bringing new members up to speed quickly with a thorough and focused program.

What you'll do here as Software developer?
You will join the Axis Audio Manager Edge team working on the backend for configuration, services and cross-device communication in all our speaker products.
You will play an important role in delivering new and innovative features and products.

Our code is written in C and Rust, but we also use other languages such as Python for test.
Most of the code reside in Linux user space and we rely on HTTP based APIs, MQTT, async code, and many other technologies.
If you happen to know any of these that's a great start.
We strive to use an open platform and open standards which fits well with Axis company core value Always Open.

Most of your days will include one or more of the following:

• Digging into new features together and designing a great solution.
• Working closely with the rest of your team, helping, and sharing knowledge between you.
• Daily stand-ups to share what you know, ask for help, and grow together with your team.
• Coding and reviewing C/Rust/Python of course.
• And every other Friday can be spent on learning something new or your own pet project and innovative ideas.

Who are you?

• You have a bachelor's or master's degree with focus on software engineering.
• You are technically curious and comfortable with development in either C or Rust.
